PS5 - Cannot complete install from PS4 disc.

While installing Mass Effect Andromeda (PS4) on disc to the PS5, the game won't install past the minimum amount for “data needed to start playing”. The disc stops moving and won’t go any further and ...

I would suggest contacting PS support, this seems to be a technical problem of the PS5 and not a game problem.

Thank you for the reply. I have also left a post with them.
Unfortunately they don’t have the same accessibility to discuss issues in an open forum.
Hopefully they respond. I will follow up here if they do.

  Was it fixed? If it was how did you solve it because I just got my PS5 and i'm trying to load my ps4 games into it and i'm getting the same code.

    Unfortunately no helpful responses. I gave up on finishing the game. Will try to reinstall once I run out of other games to play.
