I only needed to cheat on one puzzle, the one with only 3 on the top and 2 on the bottom row.. can't remember which ruin it's in, but it couldn't be bypassed. I tried to do it for about 2 hours before giving in and cheating via eurogameplay tips, which had a picture of the puzzle completed.
Done all the others tho so far.. 77% into the game. Even finding chests with puzzles on them now.

that is the bonus terminal in the Elaaden vault. i hate that one. good thing i have so many keys. it is just odd that they have a stack limit of 9
Try the main door of Eladeen's vault.
Bioware made me cry with this one. No idea how i solved that thing in my first PT.
edit: looks like a bad day. after half an hour of struggling i called youtube for help. though after that i got stuck again in a room with 6-8 consoles plus a main one on top of a platform which probably gives me +2 skillpoints since i cannot use a decryption key. cant seem to solve anything tonight in that vault. better just leave it for tomorrow. im not used to fail that badly😞
I got ME2 for free and liked it. Thats what made me buy this game. The puzzles in that game could be done by a 3 year old. Now theres this which stumps me still.
I wouldn't say they were too hard, just very time consuming. Better off doing them on the toilet than in game.
Between the mental health puzzles and Lexi periodically sending around healthy living tips I am beginning to wonder if this game has been invaded by Michelle Obama😮

You say it as if that would be a bad thing 🤔

Bearing in mind - you are talking to somebody who says "R" instead of "are."
I highly doubt somebody with less than basic language skills can learn basic math skills. Psychologically speaking, language is the foundation of all other learning and basically if you can't read/write, chances are you will suck at absolutely everything else. (Not always the case when considering mental limitations, but definitely applicable to the majority of "normal" people.)

I do them puzzles myself, though I must be missing some. As I've only ever found 19 of em.
There's actually like 23-24 of them. I know 100% for certain there are more than the 20 you need for the achievement.
Try Havarl, when you disembark the normandy erm edit: Tempest - go south towards the science camp - hang to the right wall, and eventually you'll find a cave that has a terminal, leading to more terminals, to eventually another puzzles - I actually missed it the first THREE runs I did of the game, so maybe it will help you to check there.
You will know if you've ever done it - because this chain of consoles literally let's you use anti-grav to travel across almost the entire map of Havarl - it's amazing.
