Re: Bioware Points - Sale?

Well, and this is a bit self serving, how about now?  Andromeda is having its share of bad press, perhaps having a 60% off sale on Mass Effect 2/3 DLC would create a bit of good will.  A quick Google search will reveal the number of people upset about the cost of the Bioware points to purchase DLC for a 4-5 year old game.  Either lowering the cost per point, having a sale that goes for like 6months, or eliminating the Bioware Points all together and selling the DLC for $1.99/2.99 would bring additional revenue that would perhaps help with the current PR problem.

I agree, that now would be a perfect time for such an offer/giveaway, but unfortunately I have no insight into such a decision.

Thanks for the feedback and hopefully there will be some sort of offer soon.

It's "only" 8400 Bioware Points for me to unlock all DLC for both ME2 and ME3 - you must be joking! This eqals 105€, just saying. I bought the ME Trilogy recently and well... no wonder it's dirt cheap with DLC prizes like these. So, I'm not gonna play ME2 and 3 then, unless there will be massive discount on these DLC objects. I wish I had purchased it on Steam, this is one big candidate for refund!

  • Agreed! Or perhaps releasing a GOTY upgrade for each of the games, for oh say about $10 each which would include all the DLC? Like many others I'm sure, I can't justify spending $100+ for DLC on a 5+ year game that I bought for $10 off of Amazon for the entire TRILOGY! LOL!
