Re: Black blocks on peak 15

More specifically, this is a problem with the entire AMD FX product line. I have tried to reach AMD and EA for comment, but I haven't received any helpful information.

The only thing you can do is turn off lighting effects so that your characters are at least visible. First you need to enable the developer console. Then open the console by pressing the tilde key (~) and type viewmode unlit.

We can hope... But if that ever happens it'll be AMD fixing their mistake...

BioWare won't (can't?) do anything about a CPU which fails to execute instructions correctly.

I don't know about that as it's only a couple of aeras where the game has been having trouble as I mentioned above the rest of the game runs fine just as it should but as I said as long as one of them gets their act t ogether I don't think anyone will mind who it is

  • BioWare isn't patching ME1 any more. (Or ME2 or ME3, for that matter...)

And I don't expect them to ever address a problem created by a 3rd-party's failure, that impacts only a tiny percentage of players, for (what is now) a legacy game.

guess we are stuck with it as is then as I doubt AMD will do anything either as every other game I've thrown at the chip including ME2 and 3 work just fine at least so far I've only had the machine a few weeks so far though so can't sp[eak about all the games I have as I haven't tried them all yet
