Did some further testing you can aim with controller and shoot with mouse and heads explode.
Or you can aim with mouse and shoot with controller and heads explode.
But no head explosion with only mouse.
This is the weirdest bug I have ever seen.
I tried it out to see for myself and the exact same thing happened...I can use the KBM to move and controller to shot head off or use the Controller to move and shot head off with Mouse but mouse cannot do it by itself lol that is the weirdest glitch I've ever seen

I know this issue is probably quiet low in priority to fix in the next patch but I really really hope it gets fixed - any idea when the next update will be because I really want to finish the story lol
I hope it is a higher priority. I play mostly infiltrator runs and I only use a keyboard and mouse. I won't be finishing until it is fixed.
I feel exactly the same way, I played infiltrator all the way through I was tempted to change my class between the 2nd and 3rd game but decided to stick with infiltrator because I prefer sniping and I knew I was going to finally get to see a satisfying head popping with every headshot...I was so disappointed when all of a sudden no one head pop! I only use KBM as well, best for sniping and I don't want to continue till I can play it right.
Do we have an eta or any kind of an update on a patch any time in the near future? It's been almost a month since the last patch.
There hasn't been any news of newer updates but people have mentioned that EA tend to do monthly updates so the newest one may be in the next week - hopefully!
@Thenuge7575 The issue hasn't even been acknowledged, so nobody can say if/when it will ever get fixed.
Presumably another patch will happen at some point in July. But that's just a guess since they haven't committed to doing another patch either.
If this glitch hasn't been acknowledged hopefully @EA_David can check this feed out and help push it into the fix list on the next patch

Personally I find headshots are incredibly satisfying when a game reacts accordingly, especially with snipers. Thanks for all the feedback!
@EA_Mako that's awesome news that the bug has been noticed...do you think whenever the next patch finally comes out that this issue will be addressed? I really hope so, fingers crossed! 🙌
I really need there to be an update in the next few days - I'm sitting in the position were I'm actually considering going to a cd key website to get ME3 cheap so I can finish the game.
I don't use those sites because the developers don't get the money from the sale of the games but at the same time I'm not willing to give EA more money for a game I already own.
Really not happy with EA's lack of response to the community.

Yea @Jorquay I played as infiltrator all the way through and was really looking forward to some satisfying head explosions in the third game and then was so disappointed by this glitch...bring back the gore lol
Yeah this bug is the only painful one I've encountered, otherwise my experience has been solid of LE. But ME3 has so many fun weapons and not having this effect just blows away a lot of the fun about the gunplay which is otherwise oh so good in ME3. Please fix this as soon as possible.
