Re: Issues with Xbox wireless controller on PC (ME1, ME2)

@Darnaltung I'm having the same issue.  My XBOX Series X Controller works just fine in the ME:LE launcher (all inputs working as intended), but as soon as I launch ME1 the Y-Axis becomes inverted (and the toggle in the game menu does nothing to correct this) and the A button becomes disabled/remapped to X. Yet, in the options menu the X button performs as both and X. I have also found that removing the batteries and connecting to my PC via USB-C corrects this issue, but my cable isn't long enough to allow me to sit centered at my desk while connected to my back panel (I, unfortunately, don't have a front panel USB-C port and have to connect to the rear I/O).

I have tried updating the controller firmware (which was out of date), my chipset Bluetooth driver (which was up to date), and verifying the game files via Origin (where I purchased the game) and so far the problem persists.

I opened a ticket with EA Help, but the Advisor really didn't have any other advice besides disabling my antivirus and restarting (which didn't help at all) followed by recommending a full reinstall (which I am trying now, but it's 100GB which takes me about 40 minutes with my internet speeds). We'll see if that helps at all, but I'm doubtful that it will).

I may have to request a refund if I can't find a solution that doesn't require me to go out and purchase a longer USB-C cable.

Same here, also with an XBox series X controller. Can't use a cable, the PC is over the other side of the room by the TV. Unplayable as a result.

I tried launching it through Steam, as that sometimes helps by allowing you to remap controllers. When I do that it just hangs on the ME1 splash screen.
