However, it seems likely that Origin would compress the download so that

Download size < Install size

Whether it is cheaper for me to get the download or a physical copy depends on how much less than 15 GB it is.  I have a small cap for my connection, and exceeding it requires the purchase of extra data bundles.  If its much less than 15GB, then its worth the download.

Out of my 15,6 GB install, so is 4,97 GB DLC.

So 10,63 GB for the game it self. Then comes the free DLC on top.

I think it's something like 10.5Gb for the base game, and about 4Gb more for the extended cut and the MP expansions.

I took a chance and went for the digital edition, and it seems that the download size is the same as the install size of just under 11GB (based on an extrapolation ofthe amount of data transferred over my connection to reach 1%) .  Accepting chiobe's first answer - thanks
