Re: Mass Effect 3 Load Failed. Cannot connect to server

Hello again. I logged into Mass Effect 3 on my laptop just now. The Galaxy at War map had updated and showed my current status as seen at N7 HQ. I exited the game to post this message and will boot it up again soon to see if it is still updating.

Give me 10 mins and I will check also on my xbox . It'll be great if it's fixed

Update: nope i restarted the game and its not fixed on the xbox one yet

I logged in again a few minutes ago. For the moment, it's definitely back up on my PC at least.

I'm including a screenshot of how my main menu appeared when I booted the game up. For reference, I'm in the Eastern Time Zone.

Im in the uk and on xbox one s all digital. Maybe the fix is slowly being rolled out. Ill try again in the morning if i dont get a chance tonight, its 9pm here now.

It seems this may be fixed for pc players but it is not fixed for those of us on consoles. Im on the xbox one s all digital and its NOT fixed. I literally just went on the game for an hour to find the load failed error

I started having this issue since 9th of May 2020. I hope it's not something on my end because I tried running Origin and the game as administrator for a change (I read that it helps friends to connect in multiplayer (and it did btw)).

I had this issue all day long yesterday, and no fixes on my end work. Still getting it this morning. My girlfriend has been watching me play through the Mass Effect games and now that we're at 3 I just bought her ME3 and the DLC so that she could play multiplayer with me to support our single player campaign. Her game on her computer is having the same problem. I really hope that EA can get things working right again for this weekend.

Same issue for me. I just finished playing the trilogy again about 2 weeks ago and multiplayer was functioning fine. Now I am getting the same message. The only reason I am back is to play multiplayer which is currently impossible. Kudos to everyone still playing btw. Is this a recurring problem? I see this thread is way old... Anyway, I hope it gets fixed soon. I repaired my install and laid waste to all my mods in a vain effort to fix this before I came across this thread. ☹️

@BleysI can play multiplayer all the same. The queue times are always long. Not a lot of players around. I had to start taking best gear and search for "ANY" challenge. Also, try playing public Bronze alone and when more people show up, raise the difficulty if you want to.

@ArhangeoI was happy to queue up and get into games. My wait times were never that bad, a few minutes when hosting a game (5 at most) and if I just joined a random silver match it was almost immediate. Nice to see that kind of traction after 8 years. My issue is not with the longevity of multiplayer or the ability to pick challenges and what not... I have a fuckton of X weapons and supplies. This is just about the ability to actually join a multiplayer session.

Anyway, I fell back into Multiplayer, but as I said that was a few weeks ago. Now it is not working. Since they just announced they are going to remaster the trilogy for release next year this just falls in line with EA not knowing what the hell is going on in their own backyard. This problem is not new. It's new for me (and others), but I see threads going back to 2013 on this.

I did see an interesting thread saying something about changing your Origin password and logging back into EA servers seeming to fix the issue. I will try that at some point and report back if this goes on very much longer.

did all the things above , including fresh install on a brand new pc i never used before ... galaxy at war is down.
