Re: ME2LE Audio Loss on Normandy...

@Hawksbriareos

So you can save during a sound loss and on reloading that save sound is back?

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
Also list your sound equipotent that is connected to the PC.

  • For sound equipment, I use either the sound card built into my AMD Ryzen motherboard for speakers that I've plugged in, or when I want to be quieter, I use Corsair VOID PRO headset.
    Either way, the sound loss, and as I found out, if I let it go for more than 30 seconds, crashes the game, to the point where the system refuses to close the game, and if my Task Manager is on the same screen, I CANNOT bring it up to force quit the game. If I am quick about it, I can save and reload the moment I lose sound, and keep my game from crashing.

    My system is MUCH newer stuff, developed and produced all within the last 3 years.
    An AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Motherboard with 6-core Processor chip with 3.95GHz.
    16 GB RAM

    and for Graphics card, an NVidia RTX 4060
    My OS is Windows 10.

    If you need ALL of my data from a dxdiag file, it looks like it has some sensitive information, but if you want particulars, like what the Sound Systems are, those don't look like sensitive information.

    The only data tat could be deemed sensitive in a DxDiag is your machine name, you can delete that if you want to.
    But to investigate a crash like that information about your system is necessary, that includes a overview of your hardware and the Windows error reporting.

    As said, non of this data could be used to track you or gain access to your device.
