Re: ME:3 & ME:A Multiplayer Join/Invite Friends Not Working in EA app

it seems like a simple question, however, since it's a GLOBAL issue for all people who are playing the game via EA app. what changed with the EA app during the summer that UTTERLY broke player invitations to lobbies? the EA app was WORKING for player invites in Beta; not well, but we could invite people to play. what functionality was taken away? did they make changes to EA app to force migration away from Origin (because i know people were trying to stay with Origin) that could have broke invites?

people are STILL buying the original Mass Effect 3 JUST to play multiplayer. it's not enough to tell us "This game is old" - some of us only own the Original ME3 and need the multiplayer for our single-player full game score, even if we didn't enjoy generally playing. if EA/Bioware is TRULY working on a Mass Effect 5, this is a horrible support choice for the IP.

    The teams have made some tweaks on the server side to help them dig into the issue.

    Could you please do us a favour and try to reproduce the problem again? That way, the servers can generate new logs for their investigation.

    For ME3 Multiplayer

    - I recieved an invite at 15:19 CEST and it didn't go through upon selecting character.

    - I invited at 15:20 CEST and my friend couldn't join.

    Neither method worked and the error message that came up both times was "Unable to connect to friends game."

    My ea id is FulicaAtra

    cannot add a precise date cause my last attempt to connect someone was some time ago and i just found out this post: BEWARE that this was always in the Time frame where all these other players and friends reported to you this problem with the servers and invites.
    and it's frustrating wanting to chill and relax with the game but have to give up after 45 min cause none of us could connect to each other, i always played with the same 4-6 players that night we were the usual 4 of us. none of us could create a lobby with all of us inside.
    this feature of "not working invites" make the game impossible to play with friends and as other people said before me to celebrate events such as the coming soon N7 Day, a pillar for the community.

    me and my friend attempted to join each other again to the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer lobby via EA App friend invitations (on Windows 10 and 11).
    we recieved the same error message "Unable to connect to friend's game" each time. we tried setting our lobbies to Private and Public.

    my EA ID is RedLightningN7S
    friend's EA ID is meh-N7S

    EA App version 13.45.0-5558-761259bf3 (74220-01fde85cd9)

    The time for our connection attempts was between 23:10 and 23:14 UTC+3
    (or between 11:10 PM and 11:14 PM UTC+3)
    October 18th 2023.

    @EA_Leeuw My EA id is jfforlife I just tried to respec my turian soldier and asari adept which both only got 21 skill points instead of the 25. I also tried to buy the commando package (equipment) that keeps showing up instead of the only piece of equipment i dont have : structural ergonomic. I will try the invite tonight or tomorrow.

    Is there any word from EA on Mass Effect 3 and Andromeda on there Multiplayer..
