- @NixyCRO Did you check every system for every salvage and war asset possible? Including all the Citadel fetch quests?
EMS is no longer of interest in the MELE because there is no outside multiplicator anymore. (Multiplayer.)
The Save editor that is working for the old and new games does the maths based on the old games, but as said, it is not of interest anymore.
All what counts is the Total Military Strength, and here you need, as @Cliffme1ster rightly said 7800 points to be on the save side.
There are roughly 8500 TMS points in the game, so you are be able to reach that, but it requires that you do the majority of all Missions, scan most of the planets and make the right decisions.
- @Cliffme1ster didn't check every system, only some, but I did most of the Citadel fetch quests and all the N7 missions so that is what I was talking about when I said 90% of side quests.
I doubt it is because of the salvage or the 2-3 Citadel fetch quests I missed because I am missing more than 2000 points here which I don't think would be possible to get by doing just the salvage stuff and completing the final few citadel side quests.
I completed the same stuff as I usually did in the original trilogy, in which it was enough for Synthesis, but here it wasn't by a longshot for some reason. - @NixyCRO They rebalanced it with the MELE so that everything really counts.
- @holger1405 Ah, that explains why the save editor is reporting a weird number.
And yeah, I was never aiming for 100% of TMS, but I don't remember the Synthesis ending being this hard to achieve. Usually I would get it without really breaking a sweat. I did make the right decisions, like making peace between the Quarians and the Geth, so I really don't think it is that. @Cliffme1sterwhat is the new balance like then? I must have missed the explanation for that since I know they had to rebalance it because of the missing MP, but I didn't really expect they would make the side stuff make such an impact.
- @NixyCRO I'mgoing off of what I personally experienced with my playthrough and from what I read previously. Firstly, depending on play style. Certain decisions between ME1 - ME3 will give you assets or lack there of. Secondly, since there is no MP as you already know and because of that all side quests completed and systems checked will go towards that point system. Thirdly, all the points do add up. So make sure you talk to everyone possible, do all the side stuff and check every system. When I finished on my most recent run. I had a little over 8200.
My advice would be to do everything possible next time and see how you make out to really know if it's a bug or just a lack of collection.
