Re: Mini Map?

I understand that they prioritize consoles because they're a bigger market for this game genre. Dragon Age Inquisition, despite being a great game, suffers a bit from 'consolitis' as well, with some horrible menu designs, awkward tac cam controls, and 8 ability limit. BioWare released a video about how DAI was seemingly designed for PC, but after the game was released, much of what they said proved to be untrue and the video got taken off their official YouTube channel.

There have been some good developments, however. You can see some changes in game design with The Descent and Trespasser DLC. BioWare chose to ignore last gen and as a result waves of enemies were much larger, resulting in fights of bigger proportions that wouldn't be possible on PS3 and Xbox 360.

In two weeks Mass Effect Andromeda will be featured at the EA Play event, so maybe we'll find out if this trend continues.

I am also curious of what we will see from ME A at the E3. Let's hope it's good stuff.

  • Hope MEA is awesome.

I really enjoyed ME3...even though I completed it in a couple days...admittedly,I lost a couple planets in the rush.hahaha

I hope for native controller support this time too.

I only use mouse and keyboard on FPS games and prefer to play third person story games from a reclined position...if not completely horizontal.lol

ME3 Tweaker is working for now but has a few bugs...would prefer it come from the game devs.

Dragon Age Inquisition was the first BioWare game since Jade Empire to have controller support on PC. My bet is they want to continue supporting controllers throughout this generation.
