I tried just fixing the bioengine.ini like I did with the original ME1 but it didn't work. I had to do all the steps from the fix I found before I got surround. It seems the windows 10 files are part of the problem now.
I've tried this fix but it doesn't work for me - it does enable my rear speakers, but there's still an issue with the center channel and no sound coming from it.
Another issue with the guide is that I don't have a separate BIOEngine.ini config file - I had to use a tool to unpack a bin file to get to the inis.
Great! 🙂 I got it to work. But now, I can't record my gameplay with Bandicam. ☹️ Anyone have advice on that?? Bandicam quit recording and gave me a failure to capture sound error just after I used the steps to fix.
