Re: Picking up thermal clips removes my ammo and sets it to 0? help?

Out of curiosity have you modded your game in any way?

The reason I ask is because sometimes changing something seemingly unrelated (say one number in the .exe file) might do the craziest thing to the game (like changing the class of all your Shepards to soldier).

  • The only mod i have used was gibbed's save editor, used for one save to provide imported choices, however i have tried making a new campaign save with no import, no save editor, and encountered the same issue

I haven't encountered this myself and my searches didn't bring up anything. If this happened to me I'd try the following...

    1. Locate the "Coalsesced.bin" file; the default location of this file is C:\Program Files (x86)\Mass effect 3\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\Coalesced.bin
    2. Rename the "Coalsesced.bin" file (Example: "Coalsesced-copy.bin").
    3. In Origin mouse over the Mass Effect 3 icon and right-click to bring up the option menu.
    4. From the option menu select "Repair Game".
    5. Once Origin is finished repairing your game go back into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mass effect 3\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\" to verify that Origin created a new "Coalesced.bin" file.
    6. Start the game and see if it worked.

    Note: I removed the double-post.
