Hey, so first of all thanks for your interest.
Yes I'm still playing on PS3 (from 2010, honestly no idea which series/model etc.). I played ME2 and the beginning of ME3 (after the Palaven moon mission) on a newer PS3 and that went fine.
Anyway ME3 was basically the last game I wanted to play on PS3 before buying a PS4. I will just buy a PS4 and ME Legendary Edition, or alternatively try to get the newer PS3 to where I currently live so I can import my ME2 character. Both options are better than going crazy to make ME3 work on this old PS3.
However, if you do know some kind of solution to the bug (I tried everything I could find here and on other fora), please do feel free to let me know, just to satisfy my curiosity.
Thanks again!

@9xuf3vvb0sw5 Being that it works on one and not the other indicates that there is some corrupted data on the console. I would upload the one save to the cloud, delete the game, reinstall, and then load that save from the cloud again.
That is going to be a trial and error of steps that may work. It could be basic profile data on that console that is corrupted which is why the other one works. It's like a fresh install so it isn't the actual save itself if that works.
Ive also gone through quite a few forums on save data not loading and they all pretty much say the same thing. One thing you could do is save the game as a new save file. Maybe reload a previous save and save it as a new save.
Delete the older save and keep the new one that way it is a new file.
I would go as far a reinstall of the game but you don't have to.
Try to load into that new one and see what happens.
