@EA_Atic I found multiple forum posts on this but figured following up here would be as good as any.
Closing background programs helped but didn't resolve the issue. Just much better than before.
At first, it was almost every other voice line getting cut off in ME2 and every 3rd-4th voice scene in ME1, now it is only 1-2 seconds worth and maybe only 1x per conversation after taking the above steps.
A Reddit forum did say RTX voice may be a contributing factor so that was one of the many programs I disabled. The fact disabling programs helps but doesn't resolve issues should hopefully help the tech team figure this out.
Last note, I have been on SSD the whole time and I am not running surround sound. I noticed that is something that gets asked a lot when troubleshooting this.
Good luck and thanks for looking into this!
@EA_Atic
I have been having this issue also, on my Xbox One X. I do not have any headphones, either active or otherwise. It’s like watching an English dubbed Kung Fu movie. Often, when the out-of-sinc speaking animation is finished, the audio abruptly ends, chopping off the end of sentences. I have nothing special going on with my Xbox One X, no special setting, surround sound, stereo… nothing. Please pass this along to development so they might try duplicating the issue, and a fix can be considered.Hey @EA_Atic I'm not running anything special sound-wise, just a 2.1 speaker set up. The sound seems to be playing at the correct speed but the videos are playing slowly.
I had this issue, and it drove me crazy.
But I fixed it.
I transferred my game from my SSD, to another SSD.
Now it works with zero issues.
I think the transfer process is what solves it. Nothing else anyone mentioned or I could think of worked.
