I've unlocked teamwork and top talent, but no idea if i used the app or the in-game strike teams menu's but i unlocked both of these in april/may. I'm on PC.

I have 6 teams to 20 and have been running strike teams from the app since available to do so. I just noticed Top Talent as a recently unlocked achievement. Also recently, I had the app bug where you cannot log into it until you clear the app data cache, which I did the day before I noticed the achievement popping. So the app data cache clearing may be a fix for some.
iOS APEX HQ don't have app data cache clean up. Only log out and app settings has Mobile data and background app refresh.
This achievement is still not unlocking properly in July 2021. I promoted 6 teams to level 20 within the game didn't use the app at all and didn't get the achievement on origin or steam.
Edit - Also prestige > challenges workaround did not work for me.
I think they never going to fix this, my bug was 2017.
I used app and game to make teams.
