By "paid advisors" you are referring to the EA Chat right? Where it connects you to someone from india or is there another way to get ahold of someone to assist with this? I have talked to the people in the chat window 6 or so times already. They keep referring me here for help and then close out my case... so you are telling me to contact them and they are telling me to post here. Doesn't there seem to be a problem with that?
5th day since this issue began without any assistance provided by EA Customer Support.
Playing around on my own I managed to make the issue worse. I went into the saved data utility and deleted the Mass Effect game settings. Was hoping that since it was deleted it would automatically restore itself. What it did instead was delete all the other bonus talents I had unlocked.
Note to people of future times: Do not do that.
Will try again with EA Customer Support this weekend.

Yes, there is a problem with that. And it's on their end.
The "Answer HQ" is nothing more than a collection of posts, almost all by players, about their experiences and troubleshooting techniques. Players can, should, and do point the Game Advisors to the topics here for more details about issues.
Game Advisors should NEVER point players here unless it's to a [SOLVED] post!
Post your Help Case ID # and the EA "Community Managers" who help keep order around the AHQ can track it back to whichever GA is giving such poor support.
UPDATE: I think I may have figured out the issue on my own through trial and error. I was able to restore one of the missing bonus talents by completely deleting every trace of Mass Effect from my PS3. I deleted the "Game Progress/Settings" from inside the Saved Data Utility and then went into the Data Utility and deleted the "Mass Effect Game Data" the disc had you install onto the system before being able to play. Then I created a brand new career and killed 150 things with the Assault Rifle. The trophy didn't ping but when I reached 150 by my count I went to create a new career and the bonus talent was then visible. Going to try this with AI Hacking and if it works the problem is solved.
ISSUE RESOLVED!!! (Only posting this in case some other poor sod gets stuck in my position later on down the line)
How to fix: Delete "Game Progress/Settings" in the Saved Data Utility. Delete "Mass Effect Game Data" from inside Data Utility. Restart PS3. Reinstall "Mass Effect Game Data" when prompted when starting Mass Effect. Create a new career. Redo all lost trophys and SAVE THE GAME before quitting. I think my problem was in not saving the game after finishing the AI Hacking trophy. This ended up creating a problem in the "Game Progress/Settings" file I would assume.
I would like to add that EA Customer Service was absolutely worthless in fixing this issue. The only thing they did was dodge questions, avoid helping, and telling me outright false information. I would file a complaint, however, they have made their website so confusing the navigate and the people in EA Chat talk like robots so I might just end up making myself vomit instead. Will look into sending an email to the board of directors about their poor customer service. Not much else I can think off. Thanks for nothing EA!
