I bought both KoA and ME3. How do I get the code for the armor and gun without playing the demo?

As far as I know, you can only unlock it legitimately by playing the demo.

I've noticed that the demo had been recently replaced by a 'trial version', with somewhat different playability mechanics. Are these two items available also by playing this trial as well ? The 'demo' seems to no longer be available on origin.
