ok right before you fight the last big fight you right after you talk to tali and exit out fighting the disapearing drones you make it down to the door but there isnt a red button on the door.

i tried the cheat ends up killing raji how ever you spell his name talis guy

Have you tried loading a previous save file?

When doors remain locked, it's usually because there's still an enemy somewhere. This can happen quite often when you're a biotic character and knock an enemy outside the level, but he's not dead yet.
