@davidlovesjava Yes, as long as you still have the CD key, you can redeem through Origin (unless the game has previously been associated with another EA account, of course).
To redeem a CD key, click on 'Origin' on the top of the Origin application and select 'redeem product code' or 'add game'. Type your CD key when prompted, and your game should be added to your library, ready to download and install. - Fred_vdp10 years agoHero+
Actually, DVD copies of ME1 may not always be redeemable on Origin. This is because at the time of ME1's release, the EA Download Manager (now Origin) didn't yet allow registration of physical copies.
You can, however, contact support and they can guide you through the process of adding the game to your account. That's how I did it.
You could of course try and just redeem the code, as Niah_Dark suggested. I think this may work on newer copies of the game.

My copy is very old (I think I got it pretty much as soon as it came out), and I had no issue getting it on Origin. Although I don't remember actually adding it, it was just there... My memory sucks these days though, so I probably added it at some point years ago.

Well, when I said 'newer copies', I meant DVDs that were printed after EADM allowed backups of physical copies, which was somewhere between the release of ME1 and ME2. So it's always worth a try, but if it fails, support will figure it out.
I remember the chat session I had about this. For some reason I had to make a Pogo account, but it all worked out in the end.
