Remove helmet from armor sets

While playing the series there were the armors that came with the DLCs such as the Collector's one, or the Blood Dragon, but we weren't able to remove the helmets of those special armors and that made me not want to wear them, even though they're cool looking not being able to see the characters face is really bad, can we please have the option to remove (or hide) those armors helmets this time?

I'm pretty sure you can toggle helmets.

At least I usually play without helmets (except when you are forced in a toxic atmosphere).

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Funkey is asking for the Special armor sets, like Cerberus set as example, to be allowed to run without a helmet which I don't think you can do.  All special armor sets in ME2(I think ME3 as well) are complete with helmet and don't allow you to toggle them off.  Only the first game without special sets, and regular piece sets for ME2 and 3 allow you to toggle off the helmet....like I said If I remember correctly.

Yeah, you are right. Its about the armour sets, you can't remove the helmets on most sets.

That is one of the reasons I don't wear them either. 😉

The other is that I find them useless for my builds most of the time.

If you go over the main menu the helmet removing works.

(On normal Armour.)

This bugged the ever loving crap out of me in the original ME 2 and 3. And it baffles me that it wasn't remedied for the remaster. Huge wasted opportunity. I am officially throwing my hat in this ring. Let me toggle off the helmet permanently for the Cerberus armor you get in the Armax Arsenal Arena at the very least. SHEESH.

Fun fact: I know it's an easy fix because modders made it possible for all of the special armors on the PC version. for both ME 2 and 3. Without any noticeable bugs or clipping. Except for the Blood Dragon Armor I think. Which you can see for yourself in Mass Effect 2 Remastered right now.
