About the armor thing I actually had a different idea, just so tired these days that I haven't gotten around to actually write it as a [Suggestion] to EA yet 🤒
But basically I would leave all looted armor as they are currently, I would however wipe all the base bonuses from the craftable armors as well as the % value for the [Gear] effects on augmentations and instead let this % value be determined by the rank of the armor you are crafting, so the higher the armor rank the more efficient the augmentation 😉
Oh so instead of armor giving you perks, the tier would boost/multiply the effects of augments? That would be cool. They'd just need to add a spare ammo, and a bonus XP augment to make up the difference. Ha that would essentially be what I wanted to do as well. If you get to pick the bonus(in your idea the augments) you could have the armor appearance you want and pick the perks. And the higher level the better those perks. Nice dude, I like it.
That actually make me remember the fusion mods. I do actually wish they would of put those for the other armor pieces. But not the same mods though.
Something like 1) the chest can give bonus Regen to your skill type. 2) the arms could be damage for your skill type, 3) the legs could be shield or health, and 4) the helmet could be damage resistance or weapon damage multiplyer.
Something like that anyway, the whole you can pick one of two options.
