And to answer your question, there are lots of opportunities to improve the romances - both male and even more, female romances. It all feels so "planned". And the moment you get your "intimacy cinematic" (if you even get one...) you know the end is near.
It would be great to have more than that and it doesn't have to be more "intimacy cinematics". Some party banters. A drink in one of the many bars, a kiss and cuddling interrupt after a hard fight we barely survived. Sitting together on a bench at the Nexus or the beautiful marked on Aya. Some freetime in your quarter, sitting on the couch, watching the stars. Whatever makes it more of a "romance" and not just a one night stand. But well, wishfull thinking I guess... At least we get much more than just "a warm meal" once a day.😉

I am really disappointed...the romances start good. Nice flirting and getting to know each other...Reyes is such a bad guy...but for the length of the game there is way too little romance scenes...
Why can't we just go to our LI and flirt with them, ask them out to Vortex or just to spend some time with each other?
My first PT I romanced Jaal and his scenes were cute and all, but it felt like one romantic sentence/scene every 15 hours...and between it, its just like with every other squadmate/npc
My second PT was with Reyes and his romance is awesome...until his quest is done, after that, there is nothing! Nothing! Even in the end.
I just don't get it ☹️
See my friend did Reyes and apparently there IS more.
However, it depends on the choices you make in that quest.
I believe you have to let him shoot Sloane. Then you get to meet up with him again later and theres like another kiss or something.
With Reyes it matters the choice you make.
But still his 'romance' is a lot less than many others - however he is a side 'mance, doesn't even count for the achievement.
Which brings me to another annoyance, why do that?
Straight females either have to do a scott pt for another straight romance, if we like playing a guy or not. Or do a f/f romance just to get that achievement. Why push players into stuff like that if they don't wanna do it? Go back to achievement for completing a single romance- that way if I wanna play three times and romance Liam all three times I can ! Or I can try others but don't have to just to complete the achievements.
For gay males its even worse, they have to do 2 romances outside of their sexual preference just for the achievement. Why do that?

Yeah I got that also...but after that there is nothing buw 2 mails, that you get right away and after that there is nothing...I played about 30 hours after the Reyes Quest and nothing more...even when I did big achievement in the game he wouldn't even comment on it...just keeps telling me that he is glad I visit him. Yay! And in the end there is a very very very small thing and a comment from him...thats it.
The romantic scenes/time/comments whatsoever are way too little for the lengths of the game.
I guess with Jaal it is not that big of a problem because his romance takes some more time to start and therefore there is not that much time without anything new before the end like wiht other romances

I would like that! I think Ryder should give a tour on the Tempest finishing in the quarters to every romance option 😉
And regarding Reyes: a few emails would have helped the whole romance...its a long distance romance so sure there is not that much as if it is a squadmate...well actually a few more private mails from your LI in general would be awesome 🙂

Thats it, I think. When Girls / Ladies play the game and if there is something we don't like, we tend to do nothing. ☹️ We don't write angry letters to Bioware / EA, we don't go into a forum .... Bioware could have the impression there are no females playing this game. I have no other explanation why they gave us sutch horrible romance options, with sutch ugly humans / alien.
After DA:I there have been a lot of girls who wanted to start playing SF Bioware games like Mass Effect Andromeda. I don't understand why Bioware dit not take the chance?
(Sorry, I hate the romances in MEA: Horrible, ugly guys and short un-inspired romances. Just my personal opinion! I don't want to insult somebody.)
And have you seen what further plans they have for patches / DLC's? They want to make the Romances for the male Ryder (!!) better and give them more possibilitys. Just great! I fell so ... important .... Thanks Bioware.
