Yeah I am also curious about it. I always saved the Angara and killed the Cardinal...this seems the only right choice for me.
Well the romances mainly depend on the loyalty missions and if/how much you have flirted with this specific person...as far as I know...but who knows.
I guess I'll try it someday
You mean you always let the Moshae die? You monster.
I did the opposite. ^_^ The Moshae is the only tangible being in front of me. It felt bad letting her die, although Jaal was a bit unhappy later. Well, I was playing with Scott, so there was no worries around flirting either. Later, I killed Akksul. All in all, Jaal almost didn't talk to me the whole game. HOHOHO

She does not die!
I save her and she wants the facility destroyed, but Jaal wants to save the Angara.
When you save the Angara you have the option wether you let the Cardinal live or kill her, but you always save the Moshae! - Anonymous8 years ago
^_^
Ohhhh, I didn't know the other way around. I thought the Moshae could die. I think it all became less interesting learning that now. Only the Cardinal fleeing then? Ah, that's a cheap price then. Saving the Angara on my next playthrough, whenever that happens. *puts on heroic and brave countenance*

You can't kill the Moshae.
The choice is between saving the other angara prisoners in the facility or blowing it up.
I save the prisoners.
In my first pt I didn't even kill the kett boss I let it live. In my second pt i took the interrupt tho.
If you don't take the interrupt and let the kett boss live the Moshae isnt happy that you didn’t blow the place. If you take the interrupt and at least shoot the guy tho shes fine.

She brings it up a couple times indicating she's taking a more pragmatic attitude toward Ryder and the Initiative tho, but this'll probably affect things in future games.
