Ryder sibling facial textures are broken

Product: Mass Effect Andromeda
Platform: Origin PC
What edition do you have? Normal?
Physical Disc or Digital version? Digital
AS Sara Ryder, my brother's face textures are broken or missing. I can see the neck and shin and mouth and eyeballs and the rest are splattered to the floor/ceiling. I tried validating game files, but that was not the problem.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How long has this issue been happening? Always Happens
Which single-player mode are you playing? Standard.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the stage it happens every time.
You'd have top make a face like I did. You'd have to access my save game.
What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card?

OK, this is really something. 😂

Your safe file:

Once I reset the brother's appearance to standard Scott:

I never heard anything about such a problem but apparently you are right.

The engine can't render Scott if he is the customized version of your Ryder.

So as a workaround, if you plan on a second run, change the appearance of Scott at the Character Editor in the Sickbay of the Tempest to his standard appearance.

Pretty funny hmm?
Must have been really difficult to make a system that could extrapolate facial features from dad and custom main character.

I think it is a simply face code conversion. But that is just speculation, I don't know how it is handled.
