Shadow Broker DLC Crash: (Invite Liara to Normandy).

Briefly the problem is on the Shadow Broker dlc. Basically I've completed all the steps and got to the part where you invite Liara to Normandy, the problem is that after finishing the conversation,the cutscene shows Shepard sitting on the bed asking her to "come back soon" and the game gets black screen and only have audio in the background,plus I can only close by forcing it with the task manager,basicaly my game crashes everytime the cutscene ends when I invite her to Normandy. Could someone help me with the problem? (The only bugs I saw was before the situation I find myself in ,so I didn't find anything useful).

You should have the game in your Origin library as well, if not you can redeem the Steam CD key in Origin and download a digital copy of the game.
The free DLCs and the DLCs you own should download automatically with the game.

If the game is in your Origin library and you repair it there all DLCs you own will be repaired as well.

I you are on a PC try to repair the game.

(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

If that doesn't help, this workaround should do.

@holger1405A question, would this change extra documents? Because I have DLCs that I installed outside of the Origins platform and I was wondering if when I do that these documents would stay intact and not cause additional problems.

What DLC is that? And how did you installed it outside of the normal game path?

Or do you mean DLCs downloaded from this page?

Exactly, that's where I downloaded it. And to be able to download it, I had to find a way since EA didn't offer keys anymore.(The DLCs I made the download are basicaly the ones you can't have on the steam version).

@holger1405 Thanks,Origin "repair" option fixed the problem,however,my game is laggy now for no reason.

Good to hear that the first thing is solved.

If you still have the lagging problem after restarting your machine, please open a new topic, you can tag me there.

Also attach a DxDiag in text file format to that post. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
