I can't say that I hated any of them really. All of them seemed like real people and Cora was no exception. She was very real to me. No I didn't like her so focused on this other Pathfinder that it was like I was non-existent and or like I wasn't already getting ish done... but it made sense given her personality.
Now sometimes, because a character's personality is done well, I won't like them because my personality doesn't mesh well with the personality that character has but that doesn't happen for me here either.
So I had to kind of reword this question in my mind and look at it from the standpoint of my Ryder as a, "Who would I least want on my squad?"
Given that my character can be somewhat strict in terms of wanting someone committed to our team and cause, I'd say Peebee would be the closest to not being a part of my team.
In fact, my first time running into her, I was trying to choose dialogue that would result in her not joining my team when she attempted to insert herself without my say onto the Tempest. Of course, I realize now that you're forced to have every team member and cannot lose them either. Kind of makes things a little less interesting for me.
Yep, that's the overall feeling I get from Peebee as well. She feels like the less reliable, which Liam even points out in their elevator|nomad conversations.

Exactly. I know she comes around eventually, pretty much no matter what, but eh.
The no matter what thing bothers me though.
It seems like games, in an effort to put focus in graphics, lose sight of just about everything else. I like the idea of not having people forced to be part of your squad and even being able to kill them when/where appropriate.
I like how someone could end up hating or having a complete relationship with you where they didn't think you were wonderful and or they could leave.
We had these things before I think and I took them for granted. I realize that with Peebee when her joining us happened no matter what I said/did as opposed to when I didn't want the Antivan assassin and so I didn't have him.
It just seems like the things that worked and were great in previous titles, rather than being enhanced in this title, were moved away from and this game is more linear than it would have you believe.
Okay, sorry about my tangent. But yeah, I think Peebee was the only one my character didn't want on the squad initially. Everyone else, whether he saw eye to eye with them or not, he was alright with them being there.

In terms of who gets neglected the most for squadmate positions, let's just put it this way: Jaal comes along on anything involving the Angara. On anything involving exiles, it's Vetra and Drack. Drack additionally always comes along on Elaaden for the same reason Jaal comes along on Havarl and Voeld.
I only used Cora and Liam together the first time on Eos in my first playthrough to see what their personalities were like, because the only other choice was Vetra and I liked her right from her intro.
But, ya know, to be fair, I've been pining for a Mass Effect game with an alien protagonist because the really interesting stories are the ones that are nuanced with cultural norms that aren't human. Humans are boring.

Lol, I have a similar approach most times. This means Jaal is almost always there because it is his cluster so to speak. Cora will be there sometimes because she's my second in command.
Drack on Elaaden like you. Vetra and the exiles like you. Liam I bring along for Eos. Peebee for Remnant towers/vaults... when I remember.
So overall, I'd say that Peebee and Liam get used the least. Though I never play the game on crazy difficulty so maybe it is different for those folks as perhaps squad and their abilities matter more there?

@pyrion Yes! I want to play as an alien! I don't even touch humans in multiplayer. :eahigh_file:
I actually brought drack on a lot of missions just cause he was a tank.. also I really like him. I think he hates me though, he has threatened to leave at least twice I can think of. My favorite overall is definitely Vetra. Honestly, human squadmates are always the worst.

Probably the problem with humans is that their motivation sucks, or they don't have anything up their sleeve. If Cora appeared to me and said straight in the face that all she ever wanted was to bathe herself into an Architect fluids while dancing the conga, I would actually love her for her wicked transparency. And I actually like humans in ME settings, although most of those are not squadmates.
