It's so good to see other want this, too. There are so much dark corners where I would love to use my flashlight - small caves, vaults - but the game says "no need for a flashlight". And since we already have the b button for the Nomad lights, why not use it for a manually controlled flashlight, too?
Think if you take out your guns the flashlight turns on automatically.
