Tempest improvements
Kallo will probably have a fit and go all depressed on me for attempting to tamper with his precious tempest....  But...  If I can make one improvement to the tempest, I would remove the conference r...

Since I climbed over 50 ladders a day on military ships, I have no sympathy for you virtual ladder climbing complainers... 😎
As to the ladders being there in the first place, that is actually very realistic. I think every SyFy ship I've seen that allows you to see most of the ship has ladders. Simple answer? Power loss. If you want to get shot down and can't get to your escape pod because there isn't enough power for the lifts, elevators, etc., more power to you. Enjoy the outside air as the ship explodes. Be sure to bring Liam with you.
Seriously though, ladders should be there as part of the ship design. There should always be mechanical ways of dealing with things that normally require electronics. And for a two-level ship, more than one lift seems a little impractical in design. I guess I could see a small lift off to the side that takes you up and down quickly, something like the larger cargo lift, but smaller and faster, and just one of them.
I personally prefer the open design. Like the Captain's quarters as well. No, those aren't realistic at all and I wouldn't gripe if they were made more realistic. But I'll take them while I have them 🙂
Well, considering the bridge section between the front and middle section of the ship doesn't have any other function beyond connecting the two, I would've preferred it to be a ramp that slopes down to the lower section and up again towards to the rear section thereby completely making ladders or elevators unnecessary.

Agreed, I would prefer that as well, a little ramp/slope like the one connecting the conference room...
i actually like that walkway, it connects the bridge/loadout area right to the R&D/Strike Ops/AVP terminal area.

Sure, but if it had a dip to the lower floor in the middle with side exits, there would not be a need for ladders. I see this as a possibility for an upgrade of the ship that you can craft that's optional. How about that?

Like the idea of crafting upgrades just like the nomad, just like citidel dlc allowing us to customise the furniture of andersons appt. Haha Gil must be smiling thinking Kallo's gonna love this...
Oh yeah Kallo's gonna have a fit lol
So Kallo, how about a new paint job for the hull? That way you are distracted while we built a jacuzzi in the meeting room.
Cosmetic changes are nice, but in the end it is just a ride from point A to point B. Without EDI I don't think I could become 'attached' (enamored?) to the ship.
They can add improvements, but I'd rather they concentrate effort on improving SAM's ride from point A to point B. 🙂

Dont remind me of EDI... I miss EDI... You know the first time I played ME3, at the end, I chose Synthesis cause I didnt want EDI to die... The second time I played when Tali was my love interest, the goodbye was just so sad I had to choose the destroy option and gosh it was hard to see EDI's name on the memorial... After that I just made the most unemotional mathematical decision in my history of gaming... I split them up... 1 time synthesis, 1 time destroy... 1 time synthesis, 1 time destroy. Never bothered with Control... tried that once just to see how it was but didnt bother with it again.
Now I am stuck with "pathfinder you have new email. the temperature is falling pathfinder. pathfinder this area can be mined for resources..." AHHHHHHH!!!!!! I Need EDI....

And all of that 20 million times. I really wish that we could shut off those repetitive messages because they are really annoying. Between EDI and Samantha Traynor we really lost out in ME:A ☹️
never really liked EDI liked her less once you learn her origin as a Rogue ai that hated organics joker's little stunt could have easily turned out bad sure sam's notices are a bit exessive but i like him a lot more

Wow dude. One of my saddest moments in ME1 was killing the Moon VI (early EDI), and watching its final distress call with nothing I could do to help. Finding out that EDI was the "rescued" Moon base AI was a really happy moment for me.
I am slightly worried that SAM may have the AI that Shep kills on the Citadel as part of him
doubtful sam was created from the ground up by alec ryder who unlike shepard was a Genius and not simply hard to kill :D

LOL well that genius thought symbiosis was the way to go and AI's will never rebel against their creators if they have something to lose.  He, unlike Shepard, have never spoken to a prothean!  Anyway I dont know if Bioware will play this card but it's possible.  They do recycle their stories and hope fans dont notice.  If all is as per the Zhatil story, Ryders and a good part of the initiative(The pathfinder teams with SAM implants) will be enslaved by SAM.
Article and vid for more details.
Actually, I think it is more likely that the AI on the moon was created from Alec's AI tech idea. I can see the Alliance willing to use Alec's tech just not they way Alec wanted.
I think one of the big points people are missing is that Edi used Shepard's responses as a way to grow her ethics. SAM is still learning who SAM is. All SAM has to go on is boring, soldier, analytical Alec. My Ryder starts to notice SAM trying to be more sensitive and humorous. Like when the twin is doing the reboot. "Since when do you really on luck?" is how the twin responds to SAM saying 'with any luck, the reboot will let your sister live'. I think SAM will continue to change in response to who is connected. This can go in so many directions.

Anyway, the one on the moon is a rogue VI, not an AI. Since it showed signs of intelligence cerberus used it, combined it with reaper tech and made EDI.

Joker's little stunt is nothing compared to Alec's little stunt, I have seen many of your post in this and other threads, personal preferences aside, why not be a little objective for a change.

Hope he will evolve and change, right now he's just boring me to tears.
you might as well ask people not to be people all opinions are ultimately bias that's why their called opinions :D you might like EDI you might be under the deillusion that commander shepard was the best fighter in the universe despite the fact that she/he was merely a replacement for Anderson the real first human spectre but see this is merely my opinions there no way for me to be unbias because ultimately its simply a point of view
the tempest ultimately forfill the role it was designed for it's not a over sized frigate plot device aka the SR 2

It's true, but it's these opinions that drive people to want a product or not. To like it or not. BW needs to strike a balance between some concensus, personalisation and ultimately also drawing the line in the sand somewhere.
The success of a game depends on that. If the marketing pulls you in but the game doesn't deliver, you have disenchantment. That's when you challenge a person's belief in a franchise. That can be trickier to fix than a bug in the game.

So now fans of shepard are delusional? Opinions are great and so are preferences, but yours is mixed with false facts and you are basically lying and skewing facts to the benefit of your opinion and trying to influence people to think your way by giving false facts. Just like your above point, Shepard IS the first human spectre. Anderson is NOT the real first human spectre. He was given the opportunity to go for it, yes he got screwed by Saren, but he's not given the job.. Eg. Can you claim that Hilary Clinton is President of USA even if you like her, you cant!
Only the fact that heretic doesn't like EDI makes him a threat to all peace of mind. EDI is the proof of reconcilliation, of unity, and crude humor. She is also ... capable of appearing on MEA, if she hasn't chosen to die with Mr. Moureau, depending on the ending. I hope a bug infects his game and makes Ryder be embodied by EDI and he'll be forced to play like her for ever.

Each one with each's own, heretic. You'll soon have yours.

Not quite yet. We still have at least one DLC where we will deal with bits of the Milky Way again. The Quarian Ark has yet to be discovered.
There's also the Benefactor subplot and, at some point, we will tell *somebody* we think the Milky Way has probably moved from the place where we used to live to ruins to be discovered in the next cycle.
