The good of Andromeda
We all have issues with MEA. There are terabytes of discussion on boards everywhere. Why???? Everyone talks about the bad and the ugly. What about the good? The good is there. It's why we all want ...
I found my self playing the Mass Effect trilogy quite late in the peace and from all accounts and discussions I have had with other players there were issues at the release of those games. I agree with Kakliosaur is the true essence if we keep whinging why keep playing it...
We keep playing is because it has a story, its has adventure and romance, dangerous and new exciting enemies coupled with the amazing graphics. I think that this game will succeed in ways not imagined yet, and it is sure to evolve in to a successful franchise. I cant care about the glitching in MP, I have become involved in the SP campaign and I feel I am progressing well. I love the Glyph Puzzles too. As a sudoko novice I think they are awesome and that brings be back to why I think ME-A is AWESOME. It has elements of a great game woven right though it and I am looking forward to developing my version of Ryder just as I developed my Shepard. Also I look forward to defeating the Kett and creating allies and providing a safe place for all Andromeda Initiative races.
I must say personally what bugs me the most about all the bad press is that behind all the noise nobody is talking about how gorgeous this game looks. Because it does. Even 1080s can't do 60fps on 4k Ultra because of how ambitious and demanding it is graphically, probably one of the two or three top games on the market in the graphics department. Every single environment is clearly handmade and looks STUNNING. And literally nobody is talking about it, and not only that: it's full of, frankly, idiots, who fell into a game of telephone and without even having played the game transformed the bad animations into claims that the game looks terrible, "worse than the previous games", that they are falsely spreading. Or people with 780s who think the game should run on 1080p ultra for some reason on their four year old card and are saying that the game is poorly optmized because it doesn't (of course it doesn't, your card is four years old, get over it),
I must say that that bugs me a lot. BioWare worked really well with the Frostbite engine and really pushed it to the limit on huge super detailed envornments and is getting no credit for it publically.
Of all the bad stuff said about this game, this is what bothers the most.
