There's a controls option that lets you change 'hold key' powers to toggle powers, so you press the button and it toggles backlash or whatever.

As for backlash ability, why is it a hold button? Do you realize how awkward it is to hold down a button and try to move with wasd?
can't help you with the gameplay controls but i can tell you that you can re-map your keyboard keys and turn them on and off on your pc so you don't have "miss clicks" anymore.

WARNING i have never used this so try at our own risk. its a program that will alter your keyboard i was going to use it when a key broke on my old keyboard but i just went out and bought a new one so i never got around to using it.
