You're forgetting to mention another thing ME4 multiplayer has done better than ME3.
Rewards from multiplayer in ME4 singleplayer are basically symbolic and aren't grind2win.
One can't fastrun ME4 singleplayer and get the best outcome only because they grinded in multiplayer - this was possible in ME3. 😉
Ah yes very true. I did like how multiplayer played a role in the game, however I think it was bad that you HAD to do it to get the best possible ending. I think strike teams are an excellent system, one that I use often and even have the app to manage.

To be honest, the idea that 'full destroy' was the 'best' ending is a myth.
There is no canon 'best' ending (but I digress)...

Here's a thing... in ME3 initially we had similar boxes to buy in the Store. Just with different names. Over time a few where added, including a much needed bulk-supply pack with the regular consumables. Because at some point even BW realized how incredibly tedious it was to buy the small packs over and over and over again just to recharge your medi-gel.
5 years later the new ME:A comes out and we are once more faced with nearly the same starting boxes, but multiplayer wich is (in all honesty) almost identical in nature to the original. Why is there no bulk pack for supplies in the store? We ALREADY learned this lesson. It's like they're deliberately taking a step backwards from already established solutions.
There are so many things that "bug" me about this game (har har) but this one is just ... odd.
