Where do I report overzealous mods?

Hai Guyz,

I post regularly in the BSN forums. Lately, a certain mod has been blanketing almost everything as spam, and even closed one of my topics because a similar one was created over a year ago. Is there someone above him with whom I can complain?

  • sundance - no, they DELETED the thread about EDI having a cameltoe with no explanation at all, which is why I started a new thread asking about it. This also isn't about having sympathy for me for having a thread locked, it's about the Bioware community manager thinking it's okay to personally abuse a customer.

thandalnyman - and you've found this how exactly? NOTHING I posted violated the community standards thing, and I'll note that I wasn't spamming the forum as the original thread was deleted, not locked.

sirlysander - there was no contact from Bioware AFTER that incident. I emailed them and asked quite politely why exactly I'd been banned, and why they thought it was okay to abuse customers. After repeatedly contacting them I have received no response. Bioware did NOT address my points - the contact I posted was when I was abused for no reason, at which point all contact was cut off. I have never received any specific reason as to why I was banned and abused aside from 'being negative' which a) isn't unusual on the BSN, and b) blatantly isn't true.

eaursula - I'd love to know what rules I broke, can you tell me? Banning me is one thing, I can live with that, but does EA support personal abuse against customers?

EDIT: I'll also note rule number three of Bioware's site rules:

There is a zero tolerance policy on any form of abuse towards staff, moderators or other Community members.

How ironic that you all seem so ready to condemn me when Priestly himself violated the sites rules. Once again I stress that the issue is NOT the ban, it's the abuse that came with it.

    Hi captainobviousau,

It should be quite obvious that I am not an admin or moderator of the BioWare Social Network Forums. If you want to know what you did wrong there, please get in contact with the BioWare Community Team directly.

I can also only advise again to read the roles of (both) forums a second time. Discussion of warnings, infractions or bans given to yourself or others is usually frowned upon. I will therefore close this thread.

Please get in contact with the BSN Team or contact an EA Game Advisor in order to get more information about your case.

    Thanks,
    Ursula
