There are times where I'd like the option to be "dishonorable" and you know something? I'd be okay if it had an adverse affect on my relationships with certain people (or improved it in some cases)....
Blowing the base is the most logical conclusion rescuing the prisoners was jaal basically side tracking you if anything any resistence member dead is on his head because he never bothered to consult you on it anyway
sadly the angaran as a race aren't very likable specially the last conversation on aya after the epilogue
they basically say that maybe they should attack us and claim meridian for them selves i was like your lucky i can't Renegade in this game or I would use the meridian control center to wipe you guys out seriously talk about ungreatful * :D
How would we feel if the situation was reversed and the Angara just showed up in the milky way and started taking over all of the prothean tech? Especially if they found some big arsed space station the size of a planet and said nah you can't have it - we have it now? I bet almost everyone would be here crying for us to wipe them out, get them out of the milkyway and get our tech back. There would certainly be humans in the game saying that also reguardless if you chose to or not. Can't really blame the Angara ... we are taking over their cluster one planet at a time and the rem tech they have been studying for years.

Humans are a pushy lot. Large scale immigration, manifest destiny, and culture friction are all themes they touch upon - and will probably continue to.
Add to that the discovery that Angara appear to be either created or at least placed by the Jaardan I can understand feeling a little entitled to the remnant tech.
