@KayalDraknys A while back the team updated the versions of the game so that the Cerberus Network was included but still needed because of the way the game was originally coded. In order to change this, the game would have had to have been recoded entirely so it did not need it. That pass is used to authenticate DLC and other content you earned for the game.
Once you connect and it verifies the game itself, you shouldn't really need to be online as it is one of the games that only require you to authenticate the content every now and then just for updates or changes that the console makes and not really the game itself.
