Can't save in my PC

purchased this game and spent 5 hours playing with my daughter, but it failed to save automatically. When we try to save manually, the SAVE button is completely grayed out. This is unacceptable for a commercial game. We invested time and money, and yet the game does not function properly in a basic feature that should work flawlessly.

Please explain why this happens and provide a solution immediately.
