399 GT-R34 question...
I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos saying that in order to get it you have to have played NFS 2015 (idiotic requirement already, by the way) but I have a feeling you actually need to own NFS ...
Well you could also see it as a good incentive to actually play NFS 2015 and leave Payback for a while. NFS 2015 has a lot to go for compared to Payback. Not that I find Payback a bad game, it has a lot going for it, but for reasons I often shut down my PS4 with the feeling the game could (should have) been better if one sees it as a follow up on NFS 2015.
NFS 2015 has freeroam cops, better story mode, better car custimizations.
Sure NFS 2015 can be picked up for a decent price if you don't require it to be brand new.
There's nothing good about this. If it were a brand new car I could understand, but this is a car that was already shipped in the game only it couldn't be upgraded to maximum level, effectively making the car useless post-endgame. Now they've added that level but locked it behind a paywall, it's scummy even by EA standards.
Yeah I'm not spending a dime on NFS 2015, it's a terrible game, always was. NFS Payback isn't great either but at least it vaguely resembles a NFS game.
It can't be customized?
@mrtun3rNo, you can only add vanity items like underglow and set downforce, stability control and steering
Car is in the cover art genius.
What cover art genius? My game's cover art features a "NORMAL" R34 Skyline that is in the game. Eddie's Skyline has Eastsiders logo's on it. Like they already said Eddie's Skyline was just now added into the game with the last update. Your topic is asking about the 399 GTR and we are telling you which one it is. The 299 R34 GTR is the one in the cover art. It's the same car in this picture that's a red R34 with a black hood. That's a 299 R34.
