A Request For The Future Of Need For Speed
Dear Criterion,
I know you’re currently focused on Battlefield and other projects, but I wanted to take a moment to share a suggestion that I, and many in the Need for Speed community, deeply care about.
Sometime around 2026 - 2030, could you revisit Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) and remaster it to align with its original beta/prototype vision? Many of us believe that Most Wanted 2012 had incredible potential but was held back due to constraints. If given the chance, it could become the next great Need for Speed title.
We'd like to ask that EA allow you the time and creative freedom needed to make this project the best it can be, without being rushed. The NFS community is willing to take action, raise awareness, and support this idea in any way we can. We believe in you, Criterion, and we believe in Most Wanted. 0% microtransactions, 0% p2w (pay to win) elements, and just pure Most Wanted 2005 vibes. Well, maybe also with fewer weapons.
Remember that iconic voice line?
"Suspect is the Rockport fugitive. Driver remains MOST WANTED."
It’s time to make that line a reality. Again.
We’re not just asking for a remaster, we’re asking for Most Wanted 2.
Thank you for your time and everything you’ve done for racing games and the Need for Speed community, regardless of EA's rushiness and greed.
