    Thanks to you I will be able to help other users who ran into the same problem but which we did not yet have an answer for. I have tagged our Live Quality department as well here so they are updated on this.

Thank you for your reply. 

I have completely rewritten my original post as it turns out it was indeed a controller issue. I have been talking with other gamers on forums like reddit with similar issues and they told me it was a worn out trigger on the controller that caused their problems. It caught me completely off guard though as the controller seemed fine, and when comparing it with my new one there is only a very slight difference in the resistance of the triggers. I would have never expected a year old controller to already have worn out components.

Thank you for looking into the problem regardless, i appreciate it greatly when a company takes the effort to listened and help players.
