About the system requirements.

I would also like to know this because i want to buy the game, but i'm using Windows 7 and want to know if it's supported.

This is what it says on the game's page

Please give us an answer regarding this EA because we want to buy the game but we don't know about if Windows 7 is still supported.

Well i just chatted with someone from live chat EA and they said that only Windows 10 is supported and that on the store page is probably just an error.

But they did also say that we should keep an eye on the forums just in case anything changes. Just sucks if the game won't support Windows 10.

And i mean it says on the requirements "Directx 11" also. I don't understand why the game wouldn't run on Windows 7. Really wanted to buy it but now i'm not sure if i will.

So no Windows 7 ? 😢

I tried chatting again with someone from live chat and he said they're experts were confused about the issue.

At first he said the game won't work on win 10, after that he said that he checked with experts and that it will work on windows 7 and after he checked again with them saying the game will need windows 10.

It would be nice if we can get some accurate info.

Same goes for me, if Windows 7 isn't supported and if the game WILL NOT WORK on Windows 7 AT ALL then i i'm not buying it either.

I refuse to upgrade my OS just for 1 game. I love Windows 7 and it's such a smooth and fast OS that i just don't want to switch to Windows 10 only for 1 game.

Also, i think Anthem the same thing for MINIMUM and RECOMMENDED only Windows 10, but i checked on other forums and even on youtube people are playing it with Windows 7. Just check the Origin page on Anthem and see the system requirements.

Will this be the same thing for Need For Speed Heat also ?

Would really love a response from the devs on this because it's a really frustrating issue and it's really keeping me and i'm sure a lot of other users from buying the game.

Are you sure there isn't some mistake made about the system requirements ?

It would just be nice to have an official response from the devs because i really WILL NOT spend 60 euros just to TEST if the game works.

I'm sorry i don't mean to be rude or offend anyone, but i just don't want to waste my money because if i buy it and the game doesn't work on Windows 7 then i'm stuck with the game until i actually upgrade to Windows 10 which WILL NOT be any time soon because i haven't had any game or program that didn't ran on Windows 7.

Also Windows 7 is so much more smoother and fast, at least that is my experience with it, can't speak for anyone else though.

You might have a number of problems once Windows 7 is dropped from Microsoft's support which will be happening in January next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lack of support starts to go to anti virus and firewall software as well making all windows 7 users vulnerable to attacks.

Windows 10 isn't anywhere near as bad as what people make it out to be. It's fast and smooth and when I use a windows 7 pc today it's hard to tell any speed difference. 

I used to be one of those people that said they would never upgrade but when I did I didn't regret my decision.

Once Windows 7 is dropped I would think all game makers will stop supporting it entirely so that makes any future games you've got a interest in potentially impossible to play.
