@BVBgamer88None taken. But again from my part no offence, i've heard a lot of people saying win 10 is the future and all the stuff and believe me it's nowhere near as good or fast as some say.
Also even if support ends it doesn't matter, the real security on anyone's PC is antivirus if they have some. What people keep saying have windows update to get all security stuff is pretty much zero in terms of actual security. Actual updates that come out only help improve stability and make the OS faster but in terms of sheer security you should always have antivirus installed on not depend on the OS itself.
Also i doubt devs won't support win 7 or 8.1 because even if they are nearing the end of their lifecycle the fact still remains : DX9, DX10, DX11 are all suported and work perfectly on win 7 and 8.1. And devs won't just all start making ONLY games with DX12 because that's not how gaming works. If you take a look at a few games from EA like
1. Anthem
2. PVZ Battle for Neighbourville
3. FIFA 20
4. NFS Heat
You'll find all of these run on DX11. The fact that EA says you need win 10 i find very weird especially since Anthem and FIFA 20 also runs on win 7. FIFA 20 does have win 7 and 8.1 stated in the requirements. But all of these games are using the Frostbite engine and if at least one of them (even though Anthem and FIFA 20 already work) works with no problems on win 7 and 8.1 then i see no point in why NFS Heat shouldn't.
Anthem also says the same thing in the requirements : win 10 for MINIMUM and RECOMMENDED yet it works on win 7, just search on youtube for videos.
BTW i don't where you get your info from, but i can tell for sure steam isn't dropping support for win 7. Hell there are even users with win xp that use steam let alone win 7 or 8.1 so that's just wrong info.
