Did anyone find a solution to this
Just found out that it isn’t need for speed that just has this problem, I tried to play GTA with the same controller and the same thing happened with the R2 button when trying to accelerate and shot a gun. I have 2 pads which are 1st gen which I got with my console when it was 1st released around 5 years ago and both pads do the same we’re the R2 button doesn’t fully work, so yesterday I went out and bought a brand new PS4 controller and now the R2 button works on both games 😒. Looks like this is a software problem with PlayStation itself with the old generation controllers... hope this helps
