Account does not meet minimum requirements

I've wasted a day trying to help my son figure out why this game won't allow him access. Account doesn't meet minimum requirements is the error message. His account is not age restricted on xbo...

There are three reasons you are possibly seeing that:

1) One of your accounts is underage

2) Your security settings are not correct

3) You do not have an active XBL Gold or PS+ subscription
