Well, most of us are in similar situation - the higher you get, the more cash you need. I usually have most of materials needed, but lacking cash to install them.
My methods:
- I love Sunday to give my Viper a TT ride :-P
- I usually grind tournaments, both to get "free" cash for a race (1500-2500, depending on the route) and for the prize money (70-100k)
- I race events from higher chapters, where I have a chance to get good stack of cash (up to 16000)
- some lower races (especially nitro rush) can give you good enough money for just one fuel:

Thanks. All good ideas that I already do except for risking fuel on higher chapter events in hoping to grab the large stack. I would rather do the nitro rush over and over and make ~$60k before running out of fuel.
I am not talking about risking fuel. I am still stuck in chapter 18, but anything up to chapter 17 I can race on autopilot (possibly with occassional nitro).
I don't know if what I am experiencing is true in all other situations, but I DON'T want to win when I can collect the cash without doing so. I can just keep re-trying, and collecting cash, without losing a token until I am out of fuel. That's what I meant by 'risking' fuel (and using 3 tokens) to hopefully get a stack of cash. Follow me?

I think EA patched the lose-race-but-keep-cash loophole. Sometimes you don't get the cash if you lose the race, deliberately or otherwise.

If you say so... 😉

Looking at your screen shot I recognize the run but I'm not sure which chapter you're running in. I run the same in chapter 3 but never get anywhere near $6k in nitro bux. Help me out here.
Thanks.

You are right, it is the nitro rush in chapter 3. And the slower car you have, the more money you make on nitro regions. Since I have all the cars with maxed out stars, I deliberatly lowered PR of my Golf by installing green parts. Capable of running nitro rush in chapter 5 for relays as well.
6k is exceptional, though I have got it at least twice, but 5.5k is quite normal.
How do you uninstall parts? I deliberately kept my Toy 86 down low just for this. It's still at 288PR with all grey parts and only stage 2.
And BTW, thanks for all the good ideas and conversation.
