  • If your car is RWD and you have a lot of power going to the wheels it is natural for it to lift its front wheels.. Try watching drag races on Youtube.. If you're doing drag racing in an AWD/4WD then I agree with you that it shouldn't lift its front..

In my opinion the wheelying start quite early in the game. Lifting the front of the car requires quite a lot of power and I wouldn't expect that to happen before you reach at least 600 HP. Keep in mind that if the car is RWD you don't loose and power by the front wheels not touching the tarmac - they're just running along.

That is a silly response. These are unprepped public roads were on.

It's typical NFS over the top.. Not a bad thing. I find it manageable. Feather and blip your throttle thru 1st gear, once your in 2nd you can gung ho it.

    It’s an audi r8 so it’s 4wd.

Makes no difference if it rwd or awd. You'll need to blip the throttle thru 1st gear. It's manageable once you get the hang of it.

The Audi R8 is not a car you want when drag racing. Getting a Nissan (Skyline?) GTR for drag racing will instantly solve the wheelie problem.

  • Use a wheelie bar. The main function of them is to prevent you from wheeling.
