Are there any plans for Cross platform play?

I was wondering if the devs have any plans for crossplay between console and PC? The ability to have more people to race and more stacked servers would be nice. Especially being able to play with more friends and convincing more friends who have consoles to get the game.

@Majorpaynekills4 Why would you want to make your friends waste money on a beta release game?
Considering the amount of bugs in the game that they didn't catch or fix after they released at least TWO .... you think they could code for cross platform play that would work properly???

@Icarium81 The game for PC and both consoles are almost identical this could be done very easily. You can also see how similar the game is on each platforms by looking at the problems players have. Need for Speed Heat has the same problems on console and PC. Crossplay would be cool to have indeed.
