As a racer my car is becoming unresponive and is driving on it's own

Ok so here's what's happening. After a day or so I started as a racer for the first while, everything was fine. However last night and today I start driving as a racer and my car by itself rams itself into the edge of something while I'm driving either the left or right hand side of the road. Then last night, without my fingers even touching the keyboard my car starts going around in a circle while sort of braking (lol forget what that's called), then the controls including start menu become in-responive for multiple seconds...wierdest thing on a video game I've ever encountered. This DOES NOT, I repeat DOES NOT happen when I'm a cop.

any help?

    ok now it's doing it while I"m a cop, for about 5 minutes my car would just drive foward and woudln't stop I couldn't stear at all, until I eventually quit the game (can't access menu so I just quit it via the icon on your desktop. 

    -_- I can't even play this game

    this happened to me last night - PS3 - turning circles in the middle of the road all by itself and bouncing from curb to curb while driving itself

    I just turned the game off for a while and came back and it worked fine ... for now.

    yeah I had a perfectly fine gaming sesion last night withouth this happening, and then I tried a few mintues ago and this started happening again -_- I love how a tech hasn't even responded yet. Shows how much EA cares about their customers

    So regarding this issue; this does seem to happenon PC platforms (since you mentioned the keyboard) and PS3.
    This issue also happened to some players on Xbox platforms and one them (Norcore) found out the reason:

    The question is now to know if you have another controller plugged in, turned on or connected to your PC or PS3. This seems to be an intermittent issue so try to check the USB port for your keyboard or try with an another one if necessary.

    I also had this problem as well, I am playing on PS4, at least for now it only happened while playing as a cop when i was doing a rapid respond mission, oddly enough, like my problem with the turbo glitch it only happened while i was online, as soon as i turned off the router the problem stoped
