Community ManagerHighlight the game in your library, press the option button and then check for update. Retry playing once that update is done.

No way. They won't fix it. Looks like they don't care. They haven't updated the game since June 2018. Updates and multiplayer have been crap since Ghost took over NFS saga.
I'm on Xbox here. It is still not working, I can connect to the hangout if I want. I can do casual speed lists, in fact even still they're instant queue. As soon as I try to play ranked (it's the last achievement I need for completion) I am disconnected and get the dr1001 error code. This is beyond frustrating.
