Can you play nfs heat on both your platforms

I have nfs deluxe on my Xbox 1 and want to play using my same profile ,rank ect on the ps4 will it transfer over and will my ran increase on both platforms if I'm using my same ea information?  Thanks in advance.

Yes I'm aware I have to buy for another platform for it to work and not asking about cross play

  • @SWAE76 On a personal note, I totally agree. As you can imagine I have games here on a work account for testing and whatnot, but then when I go home to play in my own time, i need to start from scratch, which can be frustrating.

I know there's a big push for cross-progression throughout the industry, and while I don't have any info that's Heat-specific, I'd love for it to become the standard sooner rather than later.

As for "why", I believe that there are technical reasons for it to be this way(i'd guess some dependencies on account info for tracking progress that might cause issues if messed with), and while some games seem to be able to get around this limitation quite quickly and smoothy, unfortunately that's not the case for every game/engine.

Sorry, the progress is separate, if you buy a copy for a different platform you'd be starting from scratch.

@EA_David That's unfortunate. Why would you want the progress to be separated when that would be the benefits to actually having the ea subscription. So on instances as playing with friends on multiple platforms you have to replay/ rerank across the same game. Especially when buying the game and package level (deluxe ) multiple times. I fine with buying the package but not allowing progress on multiple platforms is kind of a deterrence.

@EA_David I'm not in the tech / testing unfortunately but I understand. There is definitely some things that can be worked out on the tech side . Cross platform is obviously one but in game while online getting kicked from ea servers is definitely an annoyance. This isn't gta so having to back out to a lobby or get kicked is frustrating. But that maybe a chat for a different topic .
